Join us on our journey to a more sustainable future!
We all use energy, but in most cases we could probably use less. Experience shows that businesses could make energy savings of 10% to 20% by using some basic low or no-cost energy efficiency measures.
Working together with Ellen, we’re looking at ways to make her own business more energy efficient. Now we want to bring our expertise together with Ellen’s own experience and embark on a new challenge to help support the majority of UK businesses to become masters at energy efficiency. To kick start this journey we have provided a basic toolkit to meet our customers’ needs on energy efficiency and sustainable solutions. In our daily life, both social and in business, energy is an important commodity, one that we all depend on, however, never before have we had so much evidence on Climate Change that demonstrates we all need to do more and find new ways to reduce our Carbon footprints.
With Ellen sharing our passion for sustainability, together we’re going on a new “sustainable” journey to understand the issues that our customers face. We want to understand how these issues impact you and develop solutions that support both the aims of your business, as well as the planet. Most importantly we also want to help you learn from other businesses in the same sector, or business area. We know it’s more relevant if a fish and chip shop owner learns from another fish and chip shop owner, a hairdresser from another hairdressing salon, or a big manufacturer from similar manufacturers. By sharing your successes and experiences we hope to help all our customers to implement practical solutions that can make a difference to their business today.
Ellen will be putting some energy efficient measures in place in her business on the Isle of Wight. As part of her journey, she is keen to share these hints and tips with you.
